So um.. Things that have happened..

Well we had bonfire night, which started off with me seeing Chantal again and us getting cheap haircuts that were actually really good! We both don't like hairdressers normally, but they were friendly and it wasn't too awkward =) Then I had to meet housemates and others and go fireworks, but there were sooo many queues that I had to wait for them for like an hour and kept calling Adam at work..
The field was big and muddy and I was in pumps which was so not clever. The announcer called out "We are looking for a Mr Ben Dover... this is no joke." Which was pretty amusing. The rest of the night was really good =) Lewes fireworks is most fun and not nearly as scary as I thought it would be.

I had reading week last week and me and Adam had planned on going to Wales. So we did. Friday we went shopping for the journey, where we bumped into Sarah, Dom and daddy Hughes in Tesco's car park =) We set off early on Saturday and went straight to Swansea to meet up with Mika ^_^ Adam bought a pipe for the weed from a stall that Mika showed us. He gave the lady a fiver and got fifteen in return. Mika told us that she's actually a Thai bride, and her new husband didn't read her information properly before he signed it which meant two children appeared with her that he wasn't expecting..
After this we took a shorter drive to Adam's cousins (she's about 35) . I met three of his cousins including her and they were all really nice and friendly, so it wasn't actually scary at all. Stayed there overnight, then drove up to Snowdonia area. We got there late-ish, so had dinner at the hotel. It was really cosy and comfy. Slightly weird being in North Wales in a hotel with just Adam and realising I'd be there for another 3 days..
Our first full day we decided to take a walk to a place called 'Swallow Falls'. Naturally, we both found this quite amusing. On the way we stopped at this really pretty place. Was a long stream, and a few waterfalls with a forest up a hill behind. We sat under some ridiculously high trees and smoked a little weed. On the way back down there was a robin and it came really close, so I fed it lots of bread ^_^. We got to Swallow Falls quite late, but made it after a lot of walking. Stopped off at a pub/restaurant on the way back and ate.

Second day we walked up a fucking massive hill thing in Snowdonia, and this is cut short cause I need to write the next entry.

It's funny, you hear all the time people saying 'I don't believe long distance relationships work', but you never hear people say 'I believe short distance relationships don't work'. This might seem a bit ignorant, but there are up and downsides to both situations. As Issy has ALWAYS told me, you have to be good with someone and good away from them for it to work. You can be with someone for a year or more and see each other all the time; when a time comes when you have to be apart everything could break down - one party could not communicate sufficiently, not feel like they've gotten enough attention or be a massive flirt (or even cheat). It may actually save a lot of heartache for this to happen sooner rather than later.
Then of course there's absence makes the heart grow fonder and I actually believe there's a good case for being married and living in different houses. Hopefully more sex than the average marriage too =P

I've had long distance relationships that haven't worked, and 'short distance relationships' that haven't worked. It doesn't mean that neither is a good idea..

Anyway, should sleep. Late night rant.

Basically at the moment me and Adam are kinda long distance and its going really really well =) Dont diss it.
Whoaaa, haven't written in here for ages.

General stuff: Loving having my own house in Brighton, and that I can get to East Croydon for £2. Also living a 3 min walk from classes, actually a lot closer than when I lived in halls. Been going out a lot less, but that means spending less money too, so its not all bad. Not been doing enough work as of yet, but been ill and slightly freaking out about everything. Realised I have a pretty bad ear infection, and now on 5 pills a day. May have to see a specialist if they don't work the second time.

Other things:

Been seeing Adam every week and seems to be going well =) We've had a campfire in his local park with wine until 3am the other week which was really nice. Had our first 'mini-argument' about a toaster when tipsy, but just ended up being funny, then we accidently head-butted. Last Sunday was our 2 month thing. Not really a big deal, but any excuse really, and we went to see 'Inherit the Wind' at the Old Vic with Kevin Spacey in. Then he took me out for an Italian meal which was really nice =)

Charlie and Sinead have broken up for good. Was quite a big deal, and shes burning stuff he's given her on a bonfire we're having tonight.

Saw Tim Minchin at the Brighton Dome with Jo the night before last. Was so amazing, and I totally would. He got an audience member (oldish, bald guy) to dress up as a bear and dance around. He tried to do break dancing and stuff..

Adam came down for one night last night. Was gonna be a surprise for me, but was going to my friend Jack's birthday thing, which was also at Komedia. The first time was funnier, but it was still really good =)

Also, am seeing Chantal like, almost regularly now, which is really nice cause I consider her one of my best friends ^_^

Plans:

Having a small Halloween party tonight, doing the place up and blowing up balloons.

Tomorrow seeing Sarah and Adam again and going to the Glitter Room to watch naked ladies.

Going to Wales for a road trip with Adam in a week =) 3 nights in a hotel in Snowdonia, REALLY looking forward to it.

Well. Proper update time or something.

Yeah, my grandad has cancer. Was really out of the blue a week ago, and I don't know how to deal with it really. I've never been that close to my grandparents, so I don't really know how to deal with it. It's made worse by my ineptness at phone conversations. I asked my grandma how she was and she just retorted, "Well how do you think?" which made me stutter a lot more than normal. My dad's really down with it, I really don't know how to deal with situations like this, and selfishly, I'm glad I'm going back to Brighton soon.

The barrister work in London was quite amazing. The walk there is through a rose garden and past a fountain, just off Fleet Street. Unfortunately I was ill yesterday, and the judge is ill tomorrow, so I'm going in again on Monday as there is a court case in Reigate and a conference for me to sit in on.

Stuff with Adam is kinda really good. It's the least stressful relationship I've been in. He's taking me out for a Mexican on Friday up in town, and next Wednesday he's taking me to see Ed Byrne as I have no money and he won't let me be guilty. He's already cooked for my parents which is pretty.. good? Weird? I don't know, but they like him now =P And all my friends like him. Issy says he seems like one of her best mates already, which is a bit fast but kinda sweet haha. We're planning a trip to see Sarah Fairy in Cheltenham then go to Wales to chill out in the country in my reading week, which I'm already looking forward to =D Wooooooooo.

Ahhhh. I met most of Adam's close guy mates last night. I was pretty shy and quiet, but he said that he's normally the shy one out of the group, but when his best mate, Adam (yes, another one), is there, he's much more confident and loud. Basically exactly the same with me and Issy =) Issy was gonna come with, but she started feeling really ill, so went to Scott's (this guy she's kinda seeing). Me and Adam went to his friend's birthday BBQ and he picked up Issy and gave her a lift on the way home... which wasn't on his way to anywhere actually. He said his friends liked me, and Sam was there who I already knew which made it more fun. Also heard some stories about when they all went to a strip club in Amsterdam that basically made my night. Adam stayed over and left for work at 6.30am. He left a post-it note on my phone which was really cute aha =P

EXAM IN THE MORNING. Ended with me and Adam in my park watching the stars. I mean what the fuck. I don't do stuff like that... He said he likes me likes me and wants to see me lots. Eeeeeep!

OK well last night was pretty funny and very strange. It was another cheap night at the sheep with Freya giving lifts and Thursdays are getting better recently.

It was all pretty normal until I noticed Andrew dancing right beside Issy. I haven't seen him outside of Brighton and I haven't talked to him since I called him a prick.. several times. He tried talking to me, and me and Issy both called him a prick. After a while he apologized and hugged me and said he really did like me. Later he asked if I forgave him, hugged me again and tried to dance in my group but I was having none of it haha. Was pretty fun being a bit popular as it was easier for me to ignore him and I kept seeing him stare at me. HAH.

My friend Mark was there, who has a girlfriend. I was dancing with him and such, but after a while he kept groping my bum and playing with my hair and stuff. Got a bit weird after a while, and I kept shouting at him that he has a girlfriend, sometimes very loudly. When sitting at the bus stop, he came over to me and Issy shouted at him "DON'T GROPE HER BUM!", he kissed my cheek and Issy said "OK, you're allowed to do that.." and he walked off. Naturally, I found this hilarious.

ALSO, there was a guy there who looked and danced like Kevin. I thought he was a much cuter version obviously.. and at 10am I got a text from him. It would be the weirdest thing if I dated a guy who looks and dances like Kevin o.O He's sent me 7 texts and it's not even 1.30pm.

Such a weird night. BUT GOOD.

Gah I'm tired. Thursday got a lift to and from sheep, so decided to go. Was actually a really good night =) Met a guy called Noodles and told him I had noodles earlier, was all pretty funny.

Friday, me and Sarah went to Sax's house party. I didn't want to get too drunk, but instead fell asleep in a cupboard under loads of duvets. Me and Sarah made sex noises in the toilets and other stuff happened. Apparently I give good hugs too. Met the new Sheep barmaid which me and Sarah thought would probably be a good thing. Was apparently not impressed by Mike weeing off a balcony.

Saturday went to Brighton early, saw the parade, met up with Bob, James, Tomas and a few of their friends. Went to Grand Parade and hung out a bit, met up with Sinead, then it started pouring, so we went back to Sarah and Bob's. We got in our PJs for a bit and mulled around then decided we wanted to go out, so went to the sheep again =P Mike, Katie, Harry and Rob were there from Friday night and we danced loads.

Sunday stayed at Sarah's, watched a film and stuff and a bit of a programme that is REALLY COOL. Also played around with the kittens loads, and one fell asleep above my boobies and with its front paws on my chin. SO CUTE. Love Rupert.
Back home now and Mike is telling me that Im beautiful and intimidating and I really don't know how to handle it =( WHY IS NO ONE AWAKE

I'm pretty knackered but haven't updated in ages. I can't remember the order of stuff really, so just a few things that have happened.

Been really stressed about money, whether I'm clever enough to do law, what I want to do in life and grandparents.

Went to Shropshire with Issy's family to Festival at the Edge. Had an amazing time. Someone thought me and Issy were sisters. Twice that's happened now, and we don't look alike AT ALL. The Bad Shepherds were fucking amazing. Me and Issy danced to them for ages and we chatted to the woodwind guy after who said he was so hungover he thought he was gonna fall over. They're punk folk which is pretty amusing. Issy's friend Ruth is a lap dancer and danced her lap dancey dance to it. Very odd combination of a lap dance to a folk band doing punk covers.

Saw Harry Potter 6 with Bob and his friend Tomas. Was basically hilariously bad, with some of the worst flirting ever. Me and Bob laughed most of the way through because there were sexual innuendos everywhere.

A while ago went clubbing in London with people. Was pretty good.. ish. Best bit were the cages really and was a bit too much effort. Freya went weird... but that's a long story and is kind of ok now, but I don't know if she would be comfortable seeing Tom again now, which is annoying as we've just started hanging out loads. (sorry if this makes no sense.)

Me and Issy went to Sheep last Tuesday and met up with Bob, James and Tom. We all got on really well and was all good! Issy and me got a taxi back to mine and had a sleepy over. The guy I like was there and pretty drunk, he saw me, spent ages getting up, hugged me, picked me up, then fell over.

Went Sheep again last night with Sarah. Was fun and pretty drunken of course. She was too drunk to realise we shouldn't have taken the bus that takes forever to get to her house, and we walked for about 30 mins holding hands through Thornton Heath with me in high heels and fishnets. I didn't put my flats on for some reason..

Had the best hungover day today which consisted of us watching Dodgeball, Lost in Translation and the first series of Spaced. Her 4 week old kittens turned up too, and they're just the cutest things everrrr.

Still hardly been at home =)

Went sheep last night with Issy and Freya and their friend Kate who's pretty cool. Issy was being stalked and was stalking at the same time which was pretty good. Chatted and hugged a guy I like loads and for some reason invited him to Brighton?? Haha. Freya made out with Richard and Matt Sandy and something was said that really angered me. Ugly Matt was there and freaked Freya out so much because he kept coming onto her that she ended up crying and I held her hand for ages =(

Tonight going to something at Electrowerkz, which is the same location Slimes is held at.. Bit freaked out about going again as have only been once since I broke up with Crap Alex and its like the top toilets is where he pushed me over, just outside is the first time we told each other we loved each other blah blah blah. Hopefully it'll just be good therapy though. Going with Sarah, Sax (who said he'd only go if I was *head expands*), Tom who I used to work with and Rob WHO I REALLY DONT LIKE. It's a long fucking story but he's a fat, ginger, bad tattooed twat. Honest.

Last night the Sheep nan pinched Sax's bum and grabbed Alex's crotch. She also flirts with guys by trying on their hats and stuff. It's almost exactly the same flirting technique as me, apart from the crotch grabbing of course. Bit worried about myself.

Been reading a fair bit recently too, which has been nice. Accidently missed a bus today because of it though.

Been to Wales to visit Mika. Came home at about 6pm on Sunday, then Monday at 9am left to go to Dorset. Been having good times! Men are weird all over though. In a club in Wales a guy apologized because he couldn't help staring at my tits. I don't know how to take stuff like that, about the 3rd time its happened in the last month or two. I guess I wear tight tops but it doesn't really warrant that does it?? Issy and her mum talked about this on Brighton beach.

Tomorrow, shopping gym with Issy (and Freya), hair time and cocktails and then Sheep (Alex's birthday)

Friday, hair time and maybe clubbing in London with Sarah.

Sunday Burlesque night at sheep.

Wednesday Harry Potterrrr =P
